This Ford Edge has a problem with the brake pedal fading and sinking to the floor before the brakes grab. Ultimately, the issue lies with a sticking value in the ABS hydraulic control unit. However, this few minute trick might save you $1,000+

I've seen a lot of 2020 and newer Ford vehicles with power window problems, mostly windows being stuck open and will not close. The fix is replacing the power window switch assembly which only takes a few minutes.
Ford No Start / Flashing Park / Stuck in Park FIX
Переглядів 5 тис.8 місяців тому
On this 2013 Ford F-350, we have a faulty transmission range sensor / neutral safety switch causing a no start / stuck in park problem. The solution is replacing the sensor, and I also show how to override the shift interlock manually in case you are stranded with this problem.
Chevy Silverado 6.2 Catastrophic Engine Failure

Removing Broken Cab Mount Bolts - Ford Super Duty
Переглядів 13 тис.Рік тому
After heating, soaking, not using an impact and holding the nut with a socket, both front cab mount bolts broke on this 2013 Ford F-350. Rather than remove everything from the front of the vehicle to access the broken bolt, I was able to sneak my cutting torch in and melt the down the broken bolt and slide it out of the body. Hopefully you find this helpful if you encounter the same problem!

Ford Explorer Power Seat Not Working FIX
Переглядів 43 тис.Рік тому
Ford part number: JU5Z-14A699-KDA I’ve seen a number of these 2020 model year Explorers with power seat problems end up being a blown fuse due to a mis-routed lumbar support wire harness causing the wires to pull out of the connector. While you might be able to take the connector apart and repair the terminals and wires, I find it simpler to replace this portion of the seat harness.
Ford 3.5 EcoBoost P0106 Wrench Light FIX
Переглядів 32 тис.Рік тому
I recently purchased this 2013 Ford F-150 EcoBoost as a mechanic's special due to a rough idle, lack of power and multiple warning lights issue. Initially, I suspected the timing chains as the PCM had multiple codes stored in history for timing, running lean as well as a P0106 MAP sensor performance / range code. I fired the parts cannon and replaced all the timing components, which resolved th...

That’s a good motor too, the old 2.2l 4 banger, I had that same engine in my 2005 Saturn vue, I got 300k miles out of that car it was in the family since new I bought it from my wife’s grandparents, when I bought it, it had 150k miles it still looked brand new, when I sold it, it had 300k miles, I sold it for 3000$ & I only paid 1500$ for it! That thing still sounded great & had great power, I did some mods to the engine & suspension nice rims brakes I put a lot of money into that car fixing it up, I drove that car everywhere & anywhere it never let me down! I sold it about 3 years ago & I still see it around town it’s still going strong!

I bought a 2013 1.4L. I was told it had a blown head gasket. I ran a compression test. 110-50-70-90. It cranks, but no start. Cylinders 2&3 were very clean. I saw small droplets of coolant on top of the piston. When I check the oil, it looked relatively clean no milkshake. I was going to replace the head gasket, but the low compression has me concerned. I know with the blown head gasket you do lose compression, but isn’t that compression kind of low for a motor with only 115,000 miles? Engines around here are pretty expensive and most have more miles than mine. The previous owner had changed the Oil regularly and just did timing chain and water pump. I haven’t pulled the head yet to put a straight edge or check it for cracks. The cylinder walls look good. I added a little oil to each cylinder to check the rings. No blowby.
